AT&T have been in the unlocking news lately for a variety of reasons, none of which paint them in a particular good light. They are now offering certain "qualifying" customers the opportunity to have theirs unlocked.

AT&T are a popular network service provider based in the US. What isn't very well known is that they also released some handsets of their own, notably the Tilt and Quickfire. AT&T specialised in making handsets ideal for messaging, with QWERTY keypads and full of useful features.
