When you order a BlackBerry unlock code, there will be an optional field on the order form called the MEP. Confusingly, this is not the same MEP that is the unlock code, but instead is a piece of information stored inside your phone. Although it's optional, we strongly recommend you fill it in, because with it we will deliver you just one working unlock code, and without it we will deliver between 2 and 8 unlock codes, any one of which could be the correct one. Every time a network unlock code is entered on a BlackBerry handset, the number of unlock attempts remaining is displayed on the phone's screen. Once this reaches zero, there is no way you can use a code to remove the network lock. If that has already happened due to a previous failed attempt, then there is no need to place an order with us.
