    The phone will say Network Locked - slide down the Screen Locked bar as usual

SIM lock

The HTC Desire HD may be SIM locked or network locked (in this context means the same thing) if sold "on" a network. That applies when the phone is sold on contract or pay as you go but with a specific mobile phone carrier. The locking process is an optional one taken by the network to discourage but not prohibit use of the phone on other networks.

In these cases, it is the customer's choice to get the Desire HD unlocked, and our simple 8 digit unlock code enables you to do that.
