Follow these instructions to find out how many unlock attempts are remaining on your Sony Ericsson XPERIA series mobile phone (includes X10, X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro and Arc).
Press the Menu and Back keys in the following sequence: Menu Back Back Menu Back Menu Menu Back.
On the menu that appears click on Service Info. Then click on SIM Lock.
On the menu that now appears the first row where it says "Network" will show a number that indicates how many times you can attempt to unlock the phone.
